The slug reads SUNNYSIDE SALOON PH. DE MARTINI PROP. 304 CALIFORNIA ST. S.F. On this clear glass picnic with footed base and air vented shoulders. The single collar top has some cracks and the bottle could use a cleaning. The Sunnyside Saloon was opened by John J. Ferguson in 1878. After eight years, he opened the A.B.C. House, apparently selling his California St. Bar to Mr. De Martini.
